Ingredients
1 box of chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup sour cream
1/2 cup stout beer
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
2 pounds powdered sugar
1/3-1/2 cup stout beer
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place all cake ingredients in a large bowl. Stir together with a whisk or spatula. Bake according to box directions. Let cool completely before icing.

For the icing, whisk together powdered sugar, stout beer, and vanilla in a medium bowl until smooth and free of lumps. Spread evenly on the cake.
